Speaking on his girlfriend who went on to become his wife, he said; “She didn’t leave me when I was hospitalised, so why would she leave me afterwards? When things were bad, she was with me all through. We got married after the accident and we are blessed with four boys.”

Yinka Ayefele has 21 albums in his discography. Prior to the accident, Ayefele was a broadcaster and journalist who worked with the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria in Ibadan.

Recounting all that happened after the accident, he said:

“After the accident, everyone jubilated when I had an erection one afternoon.

"I was wondering why they were rejoicing and they told me the doctors said I would not be able to have an erection again. They had reached the conclusion without my knowledge,” he said.

Marking the 20th anniversary of the accident that robbed him of the use of his legs, Yinka Ayefele indeed has a lot to be thankful for.
Speaking during a recent interview with Punch's Sunday Scoop on the life-changing event which he celebrated a few days ago, the gospel singer said that there had been jubilation when he had an erection.
