Farmers In Switzerland Are Making Giant Holes In The Stomach Of The Cows For This Strange Reason
Farmers in Switzerland have fitted nearly 14 cows with fistulas or cannulas. It's an external pipeline which connects to the digestive track of the cow. With its help, the farmers can easily access and examine it.
A research was conducted following which the cows were fitted with these cannulas. The farmers needed a better understanding of the cow's nutrition and how the animal was able to process the food. It would help them improve farming methods and pay attention to cattle raising.

Different varieties of oats and other crops are being tested in the digestive track of the cows. According to how well the cow can process the crops, further research on them shall be conducted.
It seems promising.

The cannula technique is proving to be a great method for new-age farming.
